A Journey of Impact, Recognition & Transformation

The Legacy

Rita Gangwani’s career is ultimately not defined by a single title, award or industry.

It is defined by the thousands of individuals she has encouraged to become more confident, articulate, resilient, disciplined and self-aware.

From classrooms to boardrooms, from pageant stages to social initiatives, her work continues to reinforce the RIGAHAUS philosophy:

Confidence with Character.
Presence with Purpose.
Polish with Values.
Turning Person to Personality.

Rita Gangwani is an internationally recognised Personality Transformation Mentor, veteran Army officer, international pageant coach, corporate trainer, educator, motivational speaker, author and social-impact advocate whose work spans more than four decades.

Her professional journey has been devoted to developing confidence, communication, character, leadership, presence and purpose across a remarkably diverse spectrum of people — students, professionals, corporate leaders, pageant aspirants and individuals seeking personal transformation.

As the founder of RIGAHAUS — Rita Gangwani’s House of Personality Transformation, she has created a distinctive training philosophy that goes far beyond grooming or outward appearance. Her work combines personality development, executive presence, communication, etiquette, pageantry, Indian values and practical life skills.

Her guiding belief is simple: true transformation is not only about looking good; it is equally about being good.

Leadership in Pageantry

Rita Gangwani has been associated as a talent partner, grooming mentor, trainer or pageant expert with a wide range of state, national and international pageant platforms.

Her work has included training and mentoring for platforms such as Femina Miss India, international and national pageants, Mrs. India platforms, modelling competitions and a number of specialised pageants.

A particularly important dimension of her work is inclusive pageantry.

She has worked across pageants representing and creating opportunities for diverse communities, including plus-size contestants, transgender participants, wheelchair users, deaf contestants, cancer warriors, teenagers, married women and participants from varied backgrounds.

For Rita Gangwani, pageantry is not merely about competing for a crown. It is a platform through which individuals can develop confidence, self-expression, communication, resilience, visibility and leadership.

Her contribution to personality development and pageantry has also received recognition from the World Book of Records.

Personality Transformation, Education & Corporate Training

Beyond pageantry, Rita Gangwani has worked extensively with schools, colleges, universities, management institutions, professionals and corporate organisations.

Her training covers areas such as communication, body language, public speaking, executive presence, professional etiquette, personal branding, leadership, grooming, confidence building and mindset development.

She has conducted programmes for corporate teams and professionals, including participants from major organisations, and has been associated with prominent educational and management institutions, including IIMs, MDI and Amity, among others.

Known affectionately by many students as “Guru-Cool,” her teaching style combines discipline and experience with humour, accessibility and practical insight.

Her sessions are designed not simply to provide information, but to help participants recognise the internal beliefs, habits and behavioural patterns that may be limiting their growth.

Indian Values, Sanskars & Character

A distinctive aspect of Rita Gangwani’s work is her emphasis on Indian values and sanskars as an essential part of personality development.

She believes that confidence without character is incomplete.

Respect, responsibility, discipline, humility, empathy, cultural awareness and appropriate conduct are therefore integrated into her approach to mentoring and transformation.

She has also authored a book presenting the meaning, relevance and practical application of Indian sanskars in a simple and contemporary manner, helping younger generations understand traditional values in the context of modern life.

Author — The Beauty Pageants Greenroom

Rita Gangwani is also the author of The Beauty Pageants Greenroom, a practical guide to the world of pageantry that draws on her decades of experience as a pageant mentor, grooming expert and personality transformation coach.

The book carries a foreword by former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, adding further distinction to a work designed to help aspiring contestants understand not only the visible side of pageantry, but also the preparation, mindset, discipline and professionalism required behind the scenes.

Covering areas such as grooming, stage presence, interview preparation, confidence, communication, etiquette and pageant strategy, the book serves as a valuable resource for contestants who want to approach pageantry with greater clarity and preparedness.

The book received recognition as “Fashion Book of the Year 2017” and has been reviewed and appreciated across national media.

Its philosophy reflects Rita Gangwani’s larger approach to pageant training: preparing contestants not merely to perform well on stage, but to develop the confidence, character and presence required to represent themselves and their country with distinction.

Through her coaching and mentoring, many of her students have gone on to achieve recognition on national and international platforms, bringing pride to India.

Author — Young Leaves, Timeless Roots

Rita Gangwani’s recent book, Young Leaves, Timeless Roots, reflects her long-standing belief that true personality development must be rooted not only in confidence and presentation, but also in values, character and sanskaars.

Written with today’s generation in mind, the book presents the essence of Indian sanskaars in a simple, contemporary and relatable manner, helping readers understand how timeless values can remain relevant in modern life.

Through the book, she seeks to bridge the gap between traditional wisdom and today’s fast-changing world—encouraging young people and families to retain strong cultural roots while developing the confidence, independence and adaptability needed for the future.

The philosophy behind the book closely reflects the RIGAHAUS approach to transformation: looking good is only one part of personality; being good, thinking well and living with values are equally important.

Young Leaves, Timeless Roots therefore goes beyond being a book on tradition. It is an invitation to carry forward the best of Indian values with understanding, pride and relevance—allowing new leaves to grow from timeless roots.
