RITA GANGWANI'S PHILOSOPHY

“RIGAHAUS is about transformation from within, confidence with grace, discipline with purpose and the courage to become your most authentic self.” I put great stress on the three " E"'s - Empathy, Encouragement, Empowerment and Excellence

Empathy: I believe meaningful mentoring begins with truly understanding the person in front of me, not just the goal they want to achieve. I take the time to listen, understand their fears, strengths, ambitions and challenges, and create a space where they feel safe to be honest and vulnerable. This allows me to guide each mentee in a way that is deeply personal, practical and relevant to their journey. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all mentoring. I meet people where they are and help them move confidently towards where they want to be.

Encouragement: I believe people grow when their progress is seen and acknowledged. I celebrate the small wins, because confidence is often built one step at a time. A timely word of encouragement can restore belief, strengthen motivation and give someone the courage to keep going when they are close to giving up. Sometimes people do not need another lesson. They simply need someone who believes in them until they learn to believe in themselves.

Empowerment: I believe the purpose of mentoring is not to create dependence, but to build the confidence to stand on your own. I offer perspective, guidance and honest feedback, but I encourage my mentees to think independently, trust their judgement and take ownership of their choices. Real empowerment begins when a person no longer asks, “What should I do?” but learns to ask, “What feels right for me, and am I strong enough to act on it?”

Excellence: I believe excellence is not about perfection; it is about giving your best with consistency, discipline and integrity. I encourage my mentees to raise their standards, push beyond comfort zones and keep refining themselves, whether in pageantry, career or personal life. The goal is not to be better than everyone else, but to become better than the person you were yesterday.

By embodying these values and adopting this approach, I aim to make a positive impact in the lives of my mentees and help them reach their goals. Whether I'm helping someone prepare for a pageant or providing guidance on a personal challenge, I believe that my role as a mentor is to support, encourage, and empower those I work with to achieve their full potential.
